French "Michelin" to take over majority ownership in "Tigar MH"

The Executive Manager of Corporation "Tigar" in Pirot, Jelena Petković, announced that French "Michelin" was ready to buy 19.4% of assets of company "Tigar MH", the largest exporter in that corporation, and to become the majority owner of that company.
"Tigar MH" represents joint investment of Corporation "Tigar", French "Michelin" and International Financial Corporation (IFC), the World Bank's department.
- "Michelin" informed us on its willingness to buy 19.4% of assets at the beginning of 2007, which is included in the contract of 2005, on the basis of which "Michelin" and IFC invested 12m EUR in this company - said she and added that that factory would operate under name "Tigar-guma" in the future.
