Appointment of new Task Force for the Belgrade Metro by end-February
Belgrade will again form the Task Force for Metro next week, it was announced Monday (17 February 2014) by Sinisa Mali, the president of the Temporary Body of Belgrade.
Mali told a press conference that the metro development project would be "pushed" forward through the identification of all obstacles to its implementation and the ways to finance it.
French company Alstom signed an agreement with the City of Belgrade in November 2011 to build the first line of the Belgrade metro, while the Belgrade Assembly adopted a conceptual study of the metro network with three potential lines in November 2012.
