Serbpackaging to start producing bags in Pirot in February - Bulgarians get green light to lease Prvi Maj production facility
Prvi Maj from Pirot has got the green light from the Privatization Agency to rent part of the Trikotaza factory that has been empty for years to the Bulgarian company Serbpackaging to produce special big bags for the market of Russia in it.
Prvi Maj Director Zoran Zivkovic said that production at that facility was expected to commence in February, adding that about 300 workers should be hired as early as in late March.
Zivkovic also voiced his expectation that Prvi Maj and AHA Mura Prvi Maj would soon operate within Pirot Free Zone.
He added that there were many prospective buyers interested in Prvi Maj's property.
- We spoke to the local self-government in Pirot about the sale of Stadion Hotel that is situated within the City Stadium complex in the city. We also talked with the management of the Veterinary Clinic in Pirot about the possibility of finding a buyer for our farms - said Zivkovic.
