The officials of Japanese Government will not wear jackets and ties this summer in order to reduce emission of heat radiation, the Government states. The decision on new dress core was approved by the Government last week, and it will be in effect prior to August 2005. By means of these unconventional measures, Japan is trying to cause reduction of the emission of carbon dioxide and other gases that create the greenhouse effect, which is in accordance with Koto protocol. If the officials don't wear jackets and ties on their working posts, then the air conditioners will be turned off and the emission of gases will be reduced. This radical idea could be even better accepted in America where informal dress code in some industries have been applied for a long time already.
