Financial Times puts Vranje among top 10 business destinations in Europe

The Financial Times' magazine fDi Intelligence has declared Vranje as one of the top ten business destinations in the category of European cities of the same size, the City Administration of Vranje announced in a release on Wednesday.
Vranje is ranked seventh among 468 cities and regions of Europe and is followed by Zrenjanin, Sremska Mitrovica and Ruma on the list, while Zajecar ranks sixth of all Serbian cities, the release reads.
- This is a great honor for Vranje as it confirms that the local self-government has been working intensively in the previous period to make decisions that should ensure benefits for investors. All the effort has paid off - said Vranje Mayor Zoran Antic.
He pointed out that the land leveling work had commenced in the Free Zone, adding that Geox and Ditra Italia would soon start building their production facilities there.
