EBRD approved credit in amount of 10m EUR to company "Soko Štark"
In Belgrade, on Friday (December 15, 2006), the contract was signed between European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and company "Soko Štark" on credit of 10m EUR, which will be intended for broadening of production capacities, new assortment of products and export expansion.
The contract was signed by the representative of EBRD, Vedrana Jelušić, and general manager of "Soko Štark" Mitar Jović.
Jović stated that it was the credit with the repayment period of 10 years and very favorable terms, one of which was "grace" period of two years.
He added that "Soko Štark" had 15-20% share in the market of confectionery products in Serbia and that it exported one fourth of total production, mainly into the countries of former Yugoslavia.
