Dance school by the American role model - 'Belgrade Dance Center' opening on January 9

The center will offer professional programs that the National Dance Foundation has developed in its Ballet school in the previous years with the Academy of Milan Scala Theater and the Vaganova Academy from St. Petersburg. Its program will include the new programs for children , professional and amateur participants.

Leading educators from the country and abroad will work at the Center. At the very beginning, part of the team will be Tatjana Ulitina and Ekatarina Ulitina from the Vaganova Academy, Ella Landsman from the Israeli troop " Kibbutz Dance Company", Sanja Ninkovic and Vera Radenković, soloist of the National Ballet Theatre, American ballet dancer Nathan Cottam, then Sandra Gnjatović, a ballerina who was involved in companies in Berlin, Monte Carlo and Belgrade , as well as Snezana Paunić, one of the best Serbian gymnasts with significant experience in working with ballet dancers.

For a program of healthy eating and fitness, dr Sasa Plećević will be responsible , and there are also yoga and pilates classes, adjusted for professional and amateur participants

Special , regular guests of "Belgrade Dance Center " and the National Dance Foundation will be the dancer of the Parisian " Moulin Rouge ", Aleksandar Josipovic, and dancer at Ballet Theatre on Terazije and television choreographer, Milan Gromilić.

The center will operate by the principle of dance centers in major U.S. cities, announcing during the year many visitors , teachers of classical ballet, modern dance, jazz dance, the quickstep, and many other dance forms.

In addition, this area, situated in the central city position, should become an important place for artistic play, strategic position to create better living conditions and attitudes towards this artistic discipline, and a place to educate future dancers, as well as the audience.

Center should also offer the possibility of preparing new dance projects for the troops from the country and abroad , and entering into co-production of new dance titles, which will be performed in front of the Belgrade among the first. In this way, the Belgrade Dance Festival, one of the most important European dance events, will have the opportunity to continue to grow , participating equally in the creation and presentation of works by the well-known and young choreographers.
