New phase in liberalization of electricity market in Serbia from January 1st
Companies with more than 50 employees, more than 10 million EUR annual income and with at least one connection with medium voltage, should choose electricity supplier as their right to electricity supply at regular prices stops.
Liberalization of electricity market in Serbia has been started in 2013, when big consumers of high voltage entered the free market. In 2014, new market for consumers of medium voltage is opening, and in 2015 it will be available to citizens as well if they wish to get electricity other than at regular prices.
