Energy Efficiency Fund in operation as of January 1st
Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said today that the Energy Efficiency Fund would be put into operation on 1 January 2014.
Shortly before the start of a business conference on energy efficiency at Sava Center, she told the press that everybody expected more money to be earmarked in the budget for that fund - around RSD 900 million, but she stressed that it was not going to happen.
Only RSD 400 million are set aside in the 2014 budget for that purpose, she said and added that the ministry was talking with donors to secure more money for that fund.
She noted that a complete rule book on how someone can apply for grants from that fund would be published in seven to ten days.
