It is announced in the Official Bulletin of October 3 that Postal Company of Serbia decided to buy Mobtel, that is, what is left of that company after Mobi 63 was formed – the real estates. “That intention of the Postal Company obtained ‘green light’ from the Government of Serbia (www.srbija.sr.gov.yu) (published in the Official Bulletin of November 9) and now it is only the question of time when that procurement will take place", says Ivanji. Such decision, according to his words, has been made on the proposal of Martin Slaf, who was on the head of Austrian consortium that bought Mobtel. "Austrian businessman estimated that it was not in his interest to keep the property of Mobtel, because that property will have to be sold in order to settle the debts of Mobtel toward other companies”, says Ivanji.

Željko Ivanji, the manager of the Sector for strategy, development and marketing of Postal Company "Srbija" confirmed that that company intended to buy "Mobtel" from Martin Šlaf for 1 EUR.

- The intention of the Postal Company obtained '‘green light'’ from the Government of Serbia and now it is only the question of time when that procurement will take place - says Ivanji.

Such decision, according to his words, has been made on the proposal of Martin Šlaf, who was the manager of the Austrian consortium, the owner of company "Mobtel".

Ivanji explained that Austrian businessman estimated that it was not in his interest to keep the property of "Mobtel", because that property would have to be sold anyway, in order to settle the debts of "Mobtel" toward other companies.

- After company "Mobi 63" was formed, company "Mobtel" remained in the registry with the property and real estates, but without the work permit. Martin Šlaf suggested that we buy that company for the symbolic price and now it is up to Postal Company "Srbija" to decide how it will manage that property, that is, whether "Mobtel" will be liquidated - Ivanji points out.
