The European Investment Bank has provided EUR 60 million to Societe Generale Serbia for on-lending to small and medium-sized enterprises in 2013 and 2014, Societe Generale said in a release today.
Since 2010, Societe Generale Serbia has been strongly supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in order to become the main bank in that segment which is going to be the supporting pillar of development of Serbia's economy in the years to come, the release reads.
The European Investment Bank has provided this credit facility on the basis of recent acquisition of KBC Banka's client portfolio by Societe Generale Serbia.
