Zelezara Smederevo negotiations to complete by year's end

There are two investors interested in Zelezara Smederevo steelworks, Smederevo Mayor Jasna Avramovic said Monday and voiced her expectation that negotiations would be completed by the year's end.

- Investors are negotiating with the Economy Ministry. They have been in Serbia for a long time, quite enough to collect much data and prepare their own studies, so everything is in the hands of the ministry now - Avramovic told Tanjug news agency.

Although she participates in the talks, she could not reveal the names of these companies because, as she explained, it is up to the Economy Ministry and the Government to decide whether to reveal their identity.
