New Air Serbia aircraft for Belgrade—Berlin flights

The airbus A319 plane of the Air Serbia, a part of the modernized fleet of the airline took off November 18 to Berlin from the Belgrade-based airport Nikola Tesla.

The Airbus A319 was replaced with Boeing 737 at the flight to Berlin and is a part of the announced changes in the traffic network and flight schedule which will play the key part in creation of the new national airline which opts for satisfying passengers’ needs and provides new and high level of comfort and service, Air Serbia announced.

- Berlin is a very important destination in our network. It is not only the capital of Germany and the metropolis but also a headquarters of one of ours code shares partners, Air Serbia, and it is becoming a more interesting destination for our guests – Dane Kondic, General Manager at Air Serbia said.

Plane A319, with 128 seats, with new logo and colors of Air Serbia, recently presented by the the First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, is among the first out of eight airbus A319 and two A320 planes the company is leasing in order to speed up fleet modernization.

The configuration of new planes is planned for eight passengers in a completely new passenger business class pit and for 120 passengers in the economy class. Following new logo and airline colors, the plane service is enriched with new menu, free drinks offer and wider range of fun program offered to Air Serbia flights.
