Representatives of Serbia and Algeria signed four cooperation agreements on Thursday. Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Algerian Minister of Water Resources Hosin Nesib said on that occasion that good political cooperation between the two countries was concretized with the aim of improving economic cooperation.

Nesib and Vucic signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between Serbia and Algeria in the field of water resources and water regime regulation, agreements in the field of investment, cooperation between national archives, as well as a protocol on cooperation between Serbian company Salsef and Algeria's Frigomedit.

Vucic said that some Serbian companies, such as Hidrotehnika, had already been operating in Algeria for a long time and that they were satisfied with their operations there, adding that some new companies would soon win contracts to build apartments, hospitals and other facilities.

- We also want to see in Serbia as many Algerian companies as possible - he noted.

These agreements were signed at the 20th session of the Mixed Committee for Economic and Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Serbia and Algeria.
