Serbian banking software in the Near East and Africa - Asseco SEE agrees on cooperation with Xerox
Asseco SEE and Xerox, a global leader in the field of business processes and document management, have signed an agreement on cooperation and joint activities in the markets of the Near East and northern Africa at the ICT trade fair Gitex that was closed Thursday in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Asseco said in a release.
This agreement was signed between Vladan Atanasijevic, a member of the Asseco SEE Managing Board, and Andrew Horne, general manager of Xerox in the Emirates. Aside from signing the agreement, Asseco SEE also held a training course for Xerox salesmen who will be offering Asseco's bank process optimization solution called ASEBA BPS, a software developed in Serbia.
- Our aim is to export this solution to the markets of the Near East and Africa in cooperation with our global partner EMC Korporacija. We believe that there is a significant space in these markets for the products and services of Serbian ICT companies - said Vladan Atanasijevic, a member of the Asseco SEE Managing Board.
Asseco SEE, a regional IT leader, participated in this year's Gitex along with several other selected IT companies from Serbia thanks to the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA). This year, Serbia was, for the first time, the country partner of this fair that exists for more than three decades, the company's release reads.
