Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) to be founded

On Monday, November 27, 2006, Belgrade will be the host to another important meeting, the Founding assembly of Serbian Association of Managers, which will be held in the newly opened IN hotel in Novi Beograd.

The guests at the assembly are ministers of Government of Serbia: Minister of Economy, Predrag Bubalo, Minister of International Economic Relations, Milan Parivodić, and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services, Bojan Dimitrijević, the President of Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Dr. Slobodan Milosavljević, big number of representatives of diplomatic corps, as well as founders and members of Serbian Association of Managers - eminent and successful Serbian managers.

Confederation of all European association of managers from Brussels (CEC) has already given official support to the founding of the first association of that kind in the country.

As we found out, the first President of the Association will be Slobodan Vučićević, the manager of Droga – Kolinska for Southeast Europe and general manager of Grand kafa.

The mission of Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) will be to improve interests of the profession through establishment of standards of professional and ethical work, as well as social activities of the members of the association of experts who deal with the business management in Serbia.

In its social activities Serbian Association of Managers will intercede in favor of legislative solutions that will enable more efficient operations and strengthening of competitiveness of Serbian companies on domestic and foreign markets.

The aim of Serbian Association of Managers is gravitate towards becoming representative association that can be one of the social partners of the Government of Serbia in the process of regulation of the issues relevant for improvement of business environment and economic development, as well as to legitimately represents association of managers of Serbia bilaterally, in the contacts with similar national associations in the other countries, as well as in the institutions formed at European and global level.
