The 4th CEDEF international energy forum dubbed "Water-Energy-Eefficiency and Sustainability in Southeast Europe" will be held September 20th in Vrnjacka Banja, the organizer, Central European Development Forum (CEDEF), announced in a release.
The aim of the CEDEF international forum is to point to the significance of key topics in the domain of responsible water management in the country, region, as well as globally, because the year 2013 was declared the International Year of Water Cooperation by the decision of the United Nations.
The forum will be dedicated to the use of water as a source of energy and the application of innovative technologies that allow for the supply, treatment and high level of efficiency in water usage.
It is expected that the forum will attract over 400 representatives of ministries, government agencies, local self-government, project coordinators, investors, embassies, industry, banks, chambers, expert development organizations, and international and national media.
CEDEF is a leading expert organization in the domain of energy efficiency and green energy in Serbia. The event will be held under the institutional patronage of the Ministry of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection and the Provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Raw Materials.
The general patron of the event is the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS), and the forum will be opened by Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection Zorana Mihajlovic.
