Belarus interested in elevator production in Cacak



Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus, Sviderskiy Gennady said yesterday in Cacak that Belarus businessmen are interested in cooperation with colleagues from Cacak, first of all in the elevator production.
Some Belarus companies are interested in the production of elevators and there is an option to set up this cooperation with businessmen from Cacak, Genadij said to journalists after the meeting with the city management and businessmen.
According to him, further agreements shall follow after this first visit to Cacak.
President of the Forum of Businessmen Cacak, Dragan Jovic, said that local businessmen expect to enter into cooperation with Belarus businessmen and to hire as many people as possible.
- We expect with the help of Belarus to revive the old economy glory of Cacak because the city used to employ 40.000 staff and had large export plants while today it is a city with a large number of the unemployed - Jovic said.
He added apart from that, that businessmen from Cacak will visit Belarus in early October and agree potential specific cooperation with Belarus companies.
