Chinese Ministry of Economy approves a loan of USD 334 mil for Corridor 11-September 2013 to see construction works start
The Chinese Ministry of Economy has approved today a loan of USD 334 mil for the construction of the Corridor 11, Velimir Ilic, the Minister of Construction has said today adding that the works will begin in September,.
The Chinese Ministry approved a loan as the last instance in the planned procedure after Eksim bank of Chine approved a loan in late June this year, Ilic said for Tanjug at the reception upon the Day of construction workers ceremony.
It is planned to build the Obrenovac-Ub highway and the Lajkovac-Ljig, some 50 kilometers long and the main contractor is Chinese Shandong Highspeed.

He pointed out there will be work for thousands new workers and that another “two concessions” which will be in the procedure of the Government, are at the threshold of signing.”
The Chinese have previously sent to the Ministry of Construction of Serbia a request to work two concessions at the Corridor 11, from the Zemun –Borca bridge to Obrenovac with another bridge at the Sava and big Surcin loop as well as for concession building of the Preljine-Pozega highway.
