It is easier to breathe in Obrenovac now, air pollution caused by activities of steam power plant reduced by 80%

Electric Power Company of Serbia and Steam Power Plant Nikola Tesla in Obrenovac have successfully finished the big job, because the air pollution has been reduced by 80% after the rehabilitation of blocks 1 and 2 and the installation of new electro-filters in steam power plant TENT.
The emmission of harmful particles from these two units has been reduced from 2,000 mg to allowed 50 mg per cubic meter - said Radomir Naumov, the Minister of Mining and Energy.
