Tender for construction of Horgoš-Požega highway finished

Minister of CApital Investments Velimir Ilić announced that the tender for construction of Horgoš-Požega highway had been finished and the delivered bids would be discussed the next day (November 2, 2006) at the meeting of the Government.

- The bids have been delivered by four groups. The tender has been concluded, commercial and financial advisors have given their opinion and it is now up to the Government to decide for the most favorable offer - said Ilić.

He added that the negotiations would commence after the decision of the Government and the concession contract would be signed with the selected partner.

- If everything goes as planned, the construction of Horgoš-Požega highway could start in Spring 2007 - Ilić estimated.
