Belavia to operate regular flights between Minsk and Belgrade as of September
Belarusian airline Belavia announced in a release that it would start operating regular flights between Minsk and Belgrade via Budapest on 19 September 2013.
Flights to Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade and Franz Liszt Airport in Budapest will be operated Monday and Thursday using a Canadair Regional Jet 100/200 airplane, the release reads.
As it is pointed out, these flights will connect not only Minsk with the capital cities of Serbia and Hungary, but also Belgrade with Budapest as there are still no direct flights between these two cities.
- This unique flight will link three European capitals. We expect to attract both business passengers and tourists as well as Belarusian, Serbian and Hungarian travel agencies. The new line will definitely increase the number of passengers changing flights in Minsk - said Belavia CEO Anatoly Gusarov.
