"Genex" hotels will go on the tender by the end of 2006

It is expected that a tender for sale of Intercontinental Belgrade and Genex hotel Kopaonik will be published by the end of 2006, as stated by the Minister of trade and tourism of Serbia, Bojan Dimitrijevic.

He said that he didn't know why this process was so slow, as the privatization advisor had finished his work in Genex more than a month ago.

- For the purchase are interested several international chains, among whom is the chain Intercontinental together with the European bank for renovation and development, and "Corinti group" - said Minister.

Dimitrijevic added that not long ago he had talked with the owner of Corinti group who wants to build another hotel of 500 rooms with 5 stars next to Intercontinental hotel, which would be an investment of at least 70 millions up to 100 millions eur.
