First series of IMT tractors delivered to buyers in Republic of Srpska
Yesterday (September 26, 2006) in Trno, near Banja Luka, Prime Ministers of Serbia and RS, Vojislav Koštunica and Milorad Dodik, handed over the keys for the first seven tractors bought in RS, which marked the commencement of realization of Memorandum on delivery of 400 IMT agricultural machines and tractors from Serbia to the buyers in RS.
Minister of Economy of Serbia, Predrag Bubalo, said that the remaining IMT tractors were also ready for delivery.
Thanking to the Government of Serbia for the realization of this project, Minister of Economy, Energy and Development of RS, Milan Jelić, expressed the expectation that the procurement of combines would be made possible in the same way. According to his words, that would help production and development of agriculture on territory of Semberija, Posavina and Lijevča polje.
Besides, 24 business contracts between companies from Serbia and RS were signed yesterday in Banja Luka, which is the best proof that the concretization of the Agreement on special paralel connections started.
