Russian investment fund "Basic Element" and company "SMR" interested in Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor"
Company "SMR", a member of "Basic Element" group, one of the biggest private investment funds in Russia, bought the tender documentation for the privatization of Mining Smeltery Basin (RTB) "Bor" and it intends to deliver the bid for takeover.
- We have recognized the big potential of RTB "Bor" amd Serbian market - "SMR" announced.
The general manager of company "SMR" Geoffrey Cowley pointed out that the international experience of "SMR" would enable efficient management with the respect of the characteristics of business at the local level, environment protection, as well as liability toward employees in the communities in which they operate.
- We are certain that all this represents the best base for the future partnership with RTB "Bor" and Serbia - Kauli pointed out.
