Professor from Kragujevac nominated for Nobel Peace Prize
Miodrag Lovric, a professor of statistics at the Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, has been nominated for the 2013 Nobel Peace Prize, together with two professors from India and the United States.
In a statement to Tanjug, Lovric says that the reason for his nomination is “International Encyclopedia of Statistical Sciences”, which he edited.
- I have been recommended for the Nobel Peace Prize by a rector of a U.S. university, several senators from Michigan, a rector of a university in Hyderabad (India), two deans, also from India - Lovric said.
