Nikola Tesla Airport profit down 54%, revenues up 6.4%
Nikola Tesla Airport has announced its business results for the previous year in which the final result of this company dropped significantly.
Last year Nikola Tesla Airport reported a business revenue of RSD 6.4 billion, up 6.4 percent from the year before. The airport handled 3.4 million passengers in 2012, up 7.7 percent from 2011.
The company's business profit fell 5 percent to RSD 2.15 billion, whereas its final result amounted to RSD 727.7 million. The airport's net profit dropped as much as 54 percent, primarily due to an increase in other expenditures that reached RSD 1.8 billion (2.4 times bigger expenses than in 2011).
The value of Nikola Tesla Airport shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange has gone up 9.2 percent since the beginning of this year, and with the latest share price of RSD 489, the company's market cap is at RSD 16.8 billion (about EUR 150 million).
