Siemens announces participation in tender for supply of trains
Siemens announced March 28th that it would participate in the Serbian Railways' international tender for the supply of 15 multi-system electric locomotives worth EUR 65 million, the money for which is provided from the proceeds of a loan extended by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Serbian Railways CEO Dragoljub Simonovic had a meeting with a delegation of Siemens Serbia led by CEO Tihomir Rajlic, and Siemens announced on that occasion that it was very interested in taking part in railway infrastructure modernization projects in Serbia.
