Everything ready for commencement of Fair "Invest Expo" in Kragujevac, huge interest of participants and exhibitors

- The participation in the first Investment Fair in Serbia, which starts tomorrow (September 6, 2006) in Kragujevac, was confirmed by big number of foreign agencies, funds, banks, chambers of commerce, as well as 25 embassies - said the Manager of the Agency of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Predrag Lučić.

Among the participants are the representatives of the embassies of Japan, USA, Czech, Germany, France, China, Poland, Canada, Russian Federation, etc., as well as big number of chambers of commerce from abroad. Lučić stated that the participation in the Fair had also been confirmed by German Bank KfW, the Agency from Saxony, Investment Fund DEG from Germany and Italian financial organization "Finest".

Pointing out that the aim of that Fair is positioning of the region of Central Serbia, the President of the REgional CHamber of Commerce of Kragujevac, Dušan Puača, said that German bank "KfW" asked to meet five privatized companies from automobile industry. As he said, the Chamber provided the meeting to that bank with the representatives of the privatized "Zastava's" companies - Alati, Tapacirnica, Kovačnica and Livnica.

The participation in this Fair has been confirmed by the chambers of commerce of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Požarevac, as well as by few banks in the country.

Mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanović, estimated that the whole attention of the investors would be directed to Kragujevac during the Fair.

- We are completely ready for investments and investors ad the commencement of construction of industrial zones on locations "Servis 2" and in Cvetojevac speak in favor of that - said Stevanović.
