The public company Putevi Srbije has invited tenders for a contract to build two interchanges - Petlovo Brdo and Orlovaca. These two interchanges are part of the bypass around Belgrade, a project financed by the European Investment Bank.
In order to be eligible for this contract, bidders must have the annual turnover of minimum EUR 12.5 million in the last five years. The main contractor will be given 270 days to complete the work.
Bidders must also have a successful experience in the implementation of projects involving the construction and reconstruction of highways, semi-highways and roads with separate lanes and asphalt paved lanes, or those involving the construction and rehabilitation of highway interchanges and completed after January 1st, 2008.
The total value of these works executed in the past five years must be no less than EUR 9.5 million. Bidders are also to have qualified manpower and appropriate crucial equipment.
In case a bid is submitted by a group of bidders or a consortium, at least one of its members must have the annual turnover of minimum EUR 4 million in the last five years.
The leading member must also have a successful experience in the construction and rehabilitation of roads and interchanges completed after 1 January 2008 and worth the total of EUR 6.5 million.
Bids can be submitted by any bidder from all around the world, while interested companies in Serbia can buy the tender documentation as of today, for RSD 25,000.
All bids must be enclosed with a bank guarantee for EUR 125,000 or USD 14 million. The deadline to submit bids is March 26th.
