On Friday (14 December 2012), Serbian Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic presented a plan for the implementation of priority projects in the fields of energy and environment protection, in which it is possible to invest between 7 and 12 billion euros.

It is estimated that the value of investment in these projects, which are all gathered at one place for the first time, ranges between seven and 12 billion euros, Mihajlovic said at the presentation of the plan, adding that tens of thousands of jobs could be created through the implementation of these projects.

She pointed out that Serbia's economic growth forecast could be more optimistic if we managed to get the implementation of all projects started.

Ona je istakla da bi i privredni rast Srbije mogao biti optimističniji, ako se krene u realizaciju svih investicija.

- We want to implement these projects, and the goal is not to waste time, given that it is precious to Serbia, and that we start signing agreements as soon as possible to enable the construction of new power plants and the opening of new mines, regional landfills and recycling centers - said the minister.

She invited interested investors to invest in these projects and to contact the Ministry of Energy, Development and Environment Protection regarding all the problems they face in Serbia.

Announcing that the competent ministry would reduce the number of required permits for investors in energy and environmental projects, she specified that they would need five instead of 27 such documents in the future.

Among the priority projects are the construction of the reversible hydroelectric power station Bistrica, agreement on the construction of the reversible hydroelectric power station Djerdap 3, Nikola Tesla B3 Steam Power Plant, as well as the development of projects involving the use of biomass and small hydroelectric power stations.

For the readers of eKapija, we exclusively present all the details of these priority projects.
