With the construction of cargo-logistic center at Airport "Nikola Tesla", Serbia will become the regional center for cargo air transportation. In that case, Belgrade would take over shipments that reached our country and the region mainly via Vienna and Brussels, which, according to the words of Nebojša Nedeljković, General Manager of Public Company Airport "Nikola Tesla", used to take over significant quantity of goods from America.

- There is only one thing missing so that the construction of cargo-logistic center can start and that is the agreement between the Ministry group of the Government of Serbia and US company "Dyncorp", which will implement the project, about the details. The information that "Dyncorp" decided to invest 90m USD instead of initial 60.6m USD speaks enough about the importance of that investment – says Nedeljković.

Complex of the future cargo-logistic center will be built on the surface of 100 ha and, at the start, it will employ few hundreds of works. The number of employees will grow with the increase in turnover of goods.

According to the estimates, on the basis of operation of similar facilities in the world, the cargo center will be able to employ up to 20,000 workers. That number, as Nedeljković explains, will include workers in the center and employees of the companies that will cooperate on the activities of collection, transportation and distribution of goods and related services.

- "Dyncorp" did not choose Belgrade by chance. First of all, it had in mind numerous benefits provided by the location of Airport "Nikola Tesla". The Airport has excellent geographic position, it is settled next to the route of Corridor 10 and, only few kilometers away, there is a railway that connects Europe with the East. Also, the biggest European river the Danube is not far away from the location of the Airport – the first man of Airport "Nikola Tesla" explains.
