Leskovac-based BIM tex to open new production facility by end-2012 - Textile plant to employ 60 workers
A new production facility of the textile plant BIM tex in Leskovac will be opened by the year's end and will employ 60 citizens of Leskovac, Bozidar Stojiljkovic, owner of that plant, said Friday (30 November 2012).
- The new facility will be opened by the year's end, and all 60 workers will be hired until late January 2013 - Stojiljkovic told Beta news agency.
About 40 workers at BIM tex have been producing several types of yarns and rubber thread for men's socks and dyeing products for two decades now.
The new facility will be producing a high-quality thread for machine and hand knitting.
This investment is worth EUR 1.2 million.
Stojiljkovic added that about 20 workers were already being trained for work in the new facility.
