Serbia's ComuTel among 500 fastest-growing companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa
Serbia's ComuTel, whose annual revenue growth rate in the last five years amounted to 315 percent, ranks 454th on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 - the list of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Deloitte said in a release.
This list includes companies from 24 countries of the EMEA region, and it is dominated by businesses from France and Great Britain. The French internet company Criteo, which has reported the impressive revenue growth of 202,100 percent during the last five years, tops this list.
Over the previous five years (2007-2011), companies on this list have achieved the average revenue growth rate of 1,549%, up from 1,287% in the previous year. For the third year in a row, France has the largest number of companies on the list (90), and it is followed by Great Britain (74) and Sweden (55).
- Considering that the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA programme measures the sustainable growth of revenues in the last five years, being one of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in the EMEA region is a truly impressive achievement. ComuTel deserves every praise for the growth achieved - said David Halstead, responsible partner for the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA programme at Deloitte UK.
