Minister of Finance of Serbia, Mlađan Dinkić, pointed out that the Republic Government did not even think about privatization of several public companies, especially those that operated well and had high profit.

- We do not even think about privatization of "Telekom" and we do not have plans for privatization of companies "PTT Srbija" and "Srbijašume". As far as EPS is concerned, the privatization is not an option, instead, new greenfield investments, that is, joint investments in certain fields, are in the pipeline and we soon expect few very concrete proejcts - Dinkić explains, adding that it is a matter of, first of all, investments in field of transportation of gas and production of electric power.

The Minister points out that the railways in Serbia would stay the property of State until further notice, as well as company Airport "Nikola Tesla", which is one of the best public companies.

- Here we also think only about joint investments. US company "Dyne corp" should build Cargo terminal. However, there are problems with the contract they suggested and the Government decided to form the task force that will negotiate about the disputable details at the highest level. The task force will be made of minister Ilić, Parivodić and me. The negotiations should be ended by the end of summer - Dinkić points out.
