First women’s bank in the world

The only women’s bank in the world, which supports women entrepreneurship, is established in Venezuela. It was founded in the capital city of Caracas and is run by women and used also by women only. From its founding in 2001 this bank has approved around 51000 short term loans to women for development and running business for cleaning, boutiques, fashion and hairdressers studios, drycleaners, tailoring shops, candy, cakes and other sweets production companies.

This bank also financed one of the recreation centers which functions in an environmental spirit and leads a women group that has become a favorite with Europeans.
