Starting next year, Serbia will have budget designed by Irish model, elaboration of project dedicated to introduction of electronic public procurements
Minister of Finance of Serbia, Mlađan Dinkić, announced that Serbia would "copy" the Irish model of the budget design, which would result in the budget that was completely different from all previous budgets.
- We will have special part of the budget that will concern public investments, whereas the special part will be dedicated to current consumption - Dinkić explained.
He expressed his belief that the National INvestment Plan, which had the same priorities as Ireland, would improve the living standard of the population and result in the increase in the number of employed persons.
Speaking about the projects in field of electronic administration, Dinkić said that the aim was that the system be introduced that would make it possible for citizens to obtain the documents they need in only few minutes. According to his words, in the future, the citizens will not have to go the municipal building just to take documents, but they will be able to get it via Internet.
- Also, we plan to elaborate the project for electronic public procurements, so that the process of public procurements be carried out on the Internet, which would result in cut in the expenses of public procurements by 17-37%. Also, the plan is that the unique computer network be introduced for all State agencies - Dinkić explained.
