The Privatization Agency of Serbia has declared tenders for sale of companies "Industrija mašina i traktora" (IMT) (Industry of Machines and TRactors) and "Industrije motora Rakovica" (IMR) (Industry of Engines Rakovica) from Belgrade and Metal-processing industry from Majdanpek, which is part of Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor", unsuccessful, because there were no interested buyers.

The invitation for sale of 100% of public assets in "Industrija mašina i traktora" in Belgrade, which is in the restructuring process, was announced on December 23, 2005. The tender documentation was bought by 4 companies from India and one company from Great Britain, but none of them delivered offer for procurement of company before the final deadline that expired on June 16.

The same happened with the sale of 100% of public assets in "Industrija motora" in Rakovica. The tender documentation was bought by 3 companies from India, but none of them delivered the offer for procurement.

The offer for the procurement of 82% of public assets in the Metal-processing Industry in Majdanpek was sent by a French company that did not continue talks before the final deadline for takeover - June 21, so that that tender was declared unsuccessful, as well.
