There is not even one negative comment in its guest book. The guests` reviews have contributed to the fact that this year`s prestigious award granted by the world`s largest travel site - TripAdvisor (www.tripadvisor.com), again goes to Belgrade-based Townhouse 27 hotel.
The hotel situated in the historical core of the capital city, facing streets Toplicin Venac and Marsala Birjuzova, got five circles, as people in the hotel business call them, for the first quarter of 2012.
Snezana Milenkovic, director of Townhouse 27, says that this award means a lot to them, especially because Townhouse 27 is the only hotel out of 60 Belgrade-based hotels presented on that site to get the highest mark.
- The visitors of this site give their reviews of hotels worldwide, and considering that 90 percent of people traveling the world first search for information on the internet and then choose the hotel to stay in, the reviews given by our guests are very significant to us – says our interlocutor.
She notes that the hotel occupancy rate is close to 70%, adding that 50% of guests return to Townhouse 27.
The most important thing is to endure and cherish a relationship with guests, Milenkovic points out and adds that the results in the past 3.5 years prove that they have succeeded in that.
Guided by a vision to justify the use of the term "townhouse" in the hotel`s name, which represents a luxury residence in the capital city, they have created a unique ambiance with 20 accommodation units, where all suites are different and no room is typical.
- A hotel as ours allows us to give our attention to each guest. We can focus on every guest and listen to their desires and requests. That is probably one of the reasons why there is not even one negative comment in our guest book.
As our interlocutor says, business people used to be the most frequent guests of the hotel, but now the situation is changing a bit.
- At first, business people were the most frequent guests, but the rooms in our hotel are now mainly occupied by diplomats, members of non-government organizations and production companies. However, we are still focused on businessmen from abroad.
The hotel guests are most often interested in visiting Tito`s grave in the House of Flowers, the Kalemegdan fortress and Belgrade`s rivers, but the capital is also gaining in popularity worldwide because of its nightlife.
A mystery guest last year "introduced" this hotel into the Luxury Group, a group of the world`s top luxury hotels, which also includes Hyatt in Serbia.
Because of all this, they are obligated to constantly work to improve the hotel and the service, and the hotel director announces a change in the lobby`s interior, new brands of towels, bed covers and much, much more.
