Slobomir near Bijeljina gets EUR 18 million aqua park

The total value of an aqua park to be built in Slobomir near Bijeljina is close to EUR 18 million.

This project will increase the local employment rate because it will provide a job for more than 250 people.

- Not only will this project increase the employment rate, but it will also complete the tourist offer, which already includes the ethnic village Stanisici and a large number of monasteries - said Milorad Dodik, president of the Republic of Srpska.

According to his words, the Republic of Srpska supports such projects through Investiciona-Razvojna Banka (Investment-Development Bank).

- We are sure that the planned facility will be finished until January or February 2013 and that the aqua park will be open to guests as of February - Dodik added.

Slobodan Pavlovic, president of the company Slobomir, said that the company employed about 1,200 permanent and 6,500 temporary workers.

Gavrilo Bobar, president of the Bobar Group, noted that he supported that very significant project for Bijeljina, pointing out that his cooperation with Slobomir was excellent.
