She is living a dream of the majority of those who enjoy shopping, cosmetics and party. She runs the company which manages the biggest shopping mall in Serbia - Usce. She does not speak a lot about her results, her results speak about her.

Tijana Vujovic, director of the Confluence company was the best student in the primary school and the Fifth Belgrade High School and one of the best students at the Bocona University in Milano.

At the age of 21 she became the youngest member of the expert team for the estimation of risk of investing in new construction projects in the Italian branch office General Electric. She continued her career in the Prague and today, at the age of 28, she is running the company in Belgrade with more than 250.000 square meters.

You will not meet her in the Belgrade clubs because she prefers peaceful places and long conversations with friends from childhood. Apart from a coffee with friends and shopping, she enjoys movies.

She likes to meet different cultures, lifestyles, history, food.

- Despite the fact my mother opposed my travel to Italy, when I passed the exam at the University in Milan, no one could stop me. I studied in the English language and enjoyed the company of students from all over the world. – our interlocutor remembered and added that she learnt the language fast and apart from the English and the French, she speaks the Italian as well.

Since the Italian market was peaceful, she tried to get the job in the Chech Republic and thought that the things happening in Prague will reflect in a couple of years in Serbia. She spent 2,5 years in Prague, hired on the risk estimation of the projects in the Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania and then everything moved towards Serbia.

The crisis did not bring GE to Serbia but it contributed to the fact that our interlocutor returned to Belgrade. Accidentally, she met Robert Schweizer who was running Merrill Lynch project in Belgrade.

- At the beginning we were working on the new project development and later we focused on preserving value of the existing portfolio through the sales of non-strategic facilties and credit arrangements optimization and then we founded Confluence.

Morale, honesty and fair relations

Although in men business, she has never felt discrimination of the gender, but of the years she states she has. Every new challenge drings new anxiety but, as she says, fear is her motivator.

- If you are led by moral, honesty and fair relations, everything is much easier. It is, in the long run, the only correct thing. Honesty wins - our interlocutor claims.
