Administrative Board of NIS accepted strategy for privatization suggested by consortium "Merrill Lynch-Raiffeisen investment"
The Administrative Board of the stock company Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) took into consideration and accepted the Strategy for privatization elaborated by the privatization councillor of the Government of Serbia, consortium "Merrill Lynch-Raiffeisen investment".
The conclusion from the meeting, which has been presided by the Head of the Administrative Board Željko Popović, will be forwarded to the Task Force of the Government of Serbia for coordination of work of the privatization councillor.
The Administrative Board has adopted the report on the design of the Programme for Improvement of Operations that NIS prepares in cooperation with company "Shell Global Solution" and the report about realization of business-information system SAP.
These activities will enhance the operations of NIS and they will influence on the increase in the value of Serbian national petroleum company before privatization.
With its attitudes, the Administrative Board of NIS showed that it is interested in successful realization of privatization, because it represents the chance for development, modernization and improvement of market position of NIS in the region.
