ICE brings Italian manufacturers of footweear, clothing and furniture to Serbia - spirit of Toscana in Belgrade

Italian Foreign Trade Institute (ICE) and the region of Toscana organize the presentation of the region of Toscana in Belgrade, which will be held on June 19, 2006, starting from 9 AM, in the Crystall hall of Hyatt hotel in Belgrade.

The presentation will be opened by Italian ambassador Alessandro Merola. On that occasion, the State Secretary for International Economic Relations, Vlatko Sekulović, and the manager of the ICE office in Belgrade, Enrico Barbieri, will address to the public.

The meeting will be held in the presence of the Regional Minister of Production Activities of the Region of Toscana, Ambrogio Brenna, who will led the delegation of 30 entrepreneurs during three-day visit to Serbia.

Regional Minister Brenna will represent the Toscana economic model, the most important role in which has the network made of 12 industrial clusters, 240 research and development centers gathered around 3 university centers and 53 service centers for companies that deals with consulting and take part in the transfer of technologies.

The second part of the meeting will be focused to the presentation of the tendencies in fashion and design.

The manager of the Furniture Research Center (CSM) from Sienna, Giuseppe Bianchi, will represent tendencies in design and peculiarities of the furniture production in Toscana.

The expert from the International Institute for Fashion, Design and Marketing Polimoda from Florence, Orazio Lopresti, will represent the fashion tendencies in the production of footwear and clothing for season spring/summer 2007.

At the end of the presentation, Alberto Melani from company Club Voltaire, which is the manufacturer of women's ready-made clothing, will address to the public and present his experience from the world of fashion.
