Serbian antitrust authority approves takeover of dairies Imlek and Mlekara Subotica
The Commission for Protection of Competition published last week on its website a decision by which it approves the concentration of market participants resulting from the acquisition of stakes in dairies Imlek and Mlekara Subotica by the Dutch company Friesland Campina.
Let us remind that Salford Capital Partners, the owner of aforementioned dairies, announced in early February that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Friesland Campina and that they expected a final agreement to be reached within the following few months.
The price of Imlek shares currently amounts to RSD 3,000. At that price, the market capitalization of the largest dairy in Serbia is close to RSD 26.1 billion (EUR 234 million).
