Local authorities in Kragujevac asked 40m EUR from State for realization of 20 infrastructural and housing projects

With 20 development projects from various fields, the City of Kragujevac had applied for the means from the National Investment Programme of the Government of Serbia, said the member of the City Council of Kragujevac Nebojša Zdravković.

- The value of the projects is 40m EUR and we expect that the Government will approve most of them - said Zdravković.

The projects relate to the construction of water supply network, sewerage, city streets and infrastructure in 64 villages, construction of infrastructure and junctions for three industrial zones in Kragujevac, so that the land could be offered for free to the potential investors and, in that way, the opportunities for new jobs created.

Some of the projects with which the local self-management applied are construction of the indoor city swimming pool, organization of "Bubanj" lake and Šumarice, construction of apartments for settling of families that live in huts, construction of gym, as well as the investments in medical nature of the water that was discovered near Stragar.
