Fourth attempt to sell Sava Shipyard
The Privatization Agency announced Saturday (24 March 2012) a tender for the sale of Sava Shipyard in Macvanska Mitrovica, which will be open for one month.
The shipyard is in bankruptcy, and this is the fourth attempt to sell it. Its property is estimated at RSD 383.5 million.
The most complex problem in the sales procedure is a controversy related to the shipyard's debt to Vojvodjanska Banka.
Sava Shipyard was founded in 1919. It has so far built 330 vessels that now sail the seas and rivers in 14 countries on four continents.
