Working hours of catering facilities in Serbia to be limited, juveniles after midnight - at homes ?
Ministry of Education and Sports of Republic of Serbia sent detailed instruction to all principals on how to additionally maintain order in the schools and school yards, along with the order to contact chiefs of local police stations urgently and to organize peace and order in the school surrounding in cooperation with them.
The invitation will be sent to the mayors of Belgrade, Niš, Novi Sad and Kragujevac to come to the meeting on which the working hours of restaurant, coffee shops and other catering facilities in their cities will be discussed. The suggestion is that the working hours should be set after Jagodina, in which coffee shops are closed at 11.30 PM during the week, i.e. 1 AM during the weekend.
The beginning of the public discussion on suggestion that the juveniles should not be allowed to appear at public places after midnight if not escorted by parents was officially announced.
Program School Police Officer, which is implemented in 258 schools in Serbia, will be broadened. Of 61 schools in Belgrade, 54 are included in this program. Since crimes take place outside school yards, the Police will be controlling juveniles and restaurants and conduct rigorous policy as far as drugs and arms are concerned.
