Luxury overnight stay for about EUR 2,200 - New look of renovated presidential suite at Hyatt hotel
A sheer luxury in a space spanning about 200 square meters. This is how the time spent at the renovated presidential suite of Hyatt hotel in Belgrade could be described in short.
With the price of about EUR 2,200 for an overnight stay, this is the most expensive and most luxurious accommodation in Serbia. eKapija has opened the door of the presidential suite to all those to whom this luxury is still out of reach.
- The suite comprises a separate kitchen, dining room, living room, study, bedroom, and rooms for rest and exercise. There are two bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a shower booth, hot tub and sauna. Of course, there is also a connection room, which is used to accommodate the guests' security - Ksenija Lubarda from Hyatt says for our web portal.
The first thing you see when you enter this suite is a spacious living room with several couches in front of an LCD TV. There is also a DVD player and a sound system, as well as a piano that might have been played by Sir Elton John before his concert in Belgrade.
The living room is connected to a dining room featuring a table for ten. Behind them is a kitchen with a separate entrance for cooks who are usually brought along by celebrities on their tour. The kitchen also features an always full refrigerator.
A study, which is separated from the living room by a sliding door, is in the other part of the suite. A bedroom features a big double bed, bedside tables, and a dressing screen.
Guests also have at their disposal a room for exercise, which features an exercise bike and training equipment, and there are several big wardrobes as well.
- Guests can use a meeting hall, get a private butler. Since this suite is part of the Regency Club, which practically represents a hotel within the hotel, guests can check in at the suite, having no need to wait at the reception desk, which guarantees them absolute privacy - people at Hyatt hotel explain.
There are many books on improvized shelves and partition walls. Luxury covers of some of them are even damaged by the ravages of time. Therefore, we had to check whether the books are there to be read or as an interior detail.
We are not sure if guests have time to read something since they usually stay at the suite for a day or two, but we are definitely sure that the books are "real".
Diplomats and celebrities
The presidential suite at Hyatt hotel was renovated shortly before the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade. Therefore, the first guests to stay at this suite upon its renovation were diplomats, followed by state presidents, ambassadors and popular music stars.
