Factory for processing of fruit and vegetables "Eko-meduza" from Bijelo Polje had exported the first shipment of 10 tons of its products worth 8,000 EUR to Canada, said majority owner of that company Jezdimir Vujičić.

Besides, that company has recently signed the pre-contract with companies "Spektar" from Split and "Zetro" from Šibenik on delivery of 250 tons of thermo-stable jams in packaging of 25 kg, which are used in the baking industry. The value of these contracts amounts to about 350,000 EUR.

Bijelo Polje's factory has also signed the pre-contract with Hungarian company "Tisa" from Szeged on delivery of 250 tons of jams and marmalades in hotel packaging of 30 g worth 150,000 EUR.

Company "Eko-meduza" arose from the privatization of entire property of former Factory "Eko-flora", in whose facilities and equipment, after the privatization, about 500,000 EUR was invested.
