The minister of European integration of Serbia, Tanja Miscevic, stated before the European Integration Board that the reform agenda for the Western Balkans Growth Plan had not been adopted, not due to Serbia’s actions, but because the process had been stopped in Brussels.

We are sorry that we have seen in one medium whether there has been access to the document. It’s not a violation of secrecy, but the question of our good trust since the beginning of the process, how the procedure is defined, Miscevic said.

No document, and believe me – I have talked to the board about 22 negotiation positions and neither one has made it to the public, she emphasized and pointed out that she was convinced that said case was an incident.

Miscevic pointed out that the first tranche of the money from the Growth Plan should arrive in late September or early October.

She said that the European Commission had estimated that all the criteria for the opening of cluster 3 with Serbia had been met and that there was not a single reason why the member states would not accept that.

We are working on the continuation and preparation for the opening of other clusters, especially cluster 2, and we hope to present the negotiation position by the end of the year, Miscevic said.
